Six million of the most beautiful acres on planet earth will soon be exploding with color!
Shallow Lake, Pigeon Lake Wilderness
It is the Adirondack Park, where autumn’s glorious hues are on display in such a way as to draw multiple thousands of travelers from miles around to experience them roadside and in much yet unspoiled wilderness. It is our favorite place to be with a camera and during our favorite time of the year. And we don’t believe we are alone on that!
We couldn’t wait to write the eleventh book in our series which was set in the fall just so we could describe this incredible environment. The new book we are working on right now – number nineteen – will be set in the autumn as well.
Hopefully what follows may inspire you to pack up the family and come chase the fall color!
Whiteface Mountain from Wilmington, NY
Moose River near McKeever
Route 73 near Keene, NY
Raquette Lake, NY
Eagle Bay Hamlet from Rocky Mountain, Inlet, NY
Jay Mountain, Town of Jay, NY
Mt. Jo near Lake Placid, NY
Fourth Lake, Eagle Bay, NY
